Part Two: GSP Rhombus Constructions

By: Mary Wisniewsky

A rhombus is a quadrilateral that contains four congruent sides. Therefore two opposite pairs of angles are congruent and two opposite pairs of sides are parallel to each other. A square is a special type of rhombus where all the angles are congruent.

The following include some GSP script tools to construct the following types of Rhombi

(click on the title of each to go to GSP link with included script tools):

1.) A rhombus with a given side and angle

2.) A Rhombus with a given side and diagonal

3.) A Rhombus with a given altitude and diagonal
